Vive Salon

Vive Salon in Horace, North Dakota is more than just a beautiful space, it’s a place built on mentorship, growth, and legacy. When Alyssa and I started working together, she was at a pivotal point in her business. She had already established herself as an incredibly talented stylist and salon owner, and she’s someone who has always prioritized strong visuals in her brand. Her salon, her past shoots, her online presence, it was all thoughtfully done. But this next season required something different. She wasn’t lacking imagery, she needed imagery that matched the level she was stepping into.

Alyssa was ready to fully own her role as an educator. The vision was clear, she didn’t just want to fill chairs, she wanted to attract the right stylists. The ones who were eager to learn, build a strong foundation, and grow into elevated careers within the industry. This meant shifting the focus of her visuals. Previous shoots had highlighted her space and her presence beautifully, but this time we leaned into movement, interaction, and real working moments that showed how she leads and teaches.

We approached the shoot in layers. First, capturing her in educator mode, working alongside her team, guiding, mentoring, and creating the kind of environment newer stylists are searching for. Then we brought in imagery that reflects her as the business owner and CEO she is, while also honoring her role as a mom. Because for Alyssa, all of those pieces matter, and they all tell the story of what’s possible.

The result is a body of work that doesn’t just show what Vive Salon looks like, but what it feels like to be part of it. These images now speak directly to the next generation of stylists who are looking for more than just a job. They’re looking for direction, growth, and someone who’s willing to invest in them.

This is what intentional brand photography does at this level. It evolves with you. It supports the next version of your business. And in Alyssa’s case, it helped position her not just as a stylist with a beautiful salon, but as a leader shaping what’s next in the industry.
