Paint My Wedding Day

Paint My Wedding Day is one of those brands that doesn’t just exist, it’s felt. Founded by Leanne, an Australian born artist with a deeply intuitive, storytelling approach to her work, this brand is rooted in emotion, movement, and meaning. She’s the kind of creative who sees the world differently and then translates it onto canvas in real time, most often at weddings where moments are fleeting and memories matter most. Our relationship goes back years, from her hosting my bachelorette party at her Art Bar days to becoming someone woven into my everyday circle, which made stepping into this project feel both natural and deeply intentional.
This was not a quick refresh. It was a layered, six month brand evolution designed to support the level she was stepping into. We started with a full website audit and overhaul, refining her copy, clarifying her voice, crafting a blog and aligning her visuals with her ideal client. The goal was not to change who she was, but to bring clarity and consistency to what already made her work so powerful. I rebuilt her website in a way that felt elevated and intuitive, while still giving her full control to continue expanding it as her team and offerings grow.
From there, we moved into a fully art directed brand shoot. Every detail was considered, from wardrobe textures and neutral tones to the environments we chose, ensuring her artwork remained the focal point. We captured her in her studio, a space that reflects her so well, and then took it a step further by traveling to Seattle with her and her team to document a live wedding painting experience at the Four Seasons. Between the wedding, the city, and the in between moments, we created a library of photo and video content that truly reflects the depth and movement of her work.
We also built a bridge between Paint My Wedding Day and its extension, The Palette District. While Paint My Wedding Day leans refined and timeless, The Palette District brings a more colorful, celebratory energy. Creating imagery that allowed both brands to live cohesively, while still feeling distinct, was a key part of the process.
To support the launch of this refreshed brand, I stepped in to run her social media for six weeks, establishing a consistent cadence and giving her a strong foundation to either maintain or expand upon. Because this is what a true brand refresh looks like. It’s not about replacing what works, it’s about refining, evolving, and creating systems that support long term growth.
This project reflects the full scope of how I work. Strategy, design, content creation, travel, and ongoing support, all tailored to the person behind the brand. And with someone like Leanne, whose work continues to grow and shift, this isn’t a one time project. It’s an ongoing evolution I’m honored to be part of.
